QD ATPC
QD ATPC (Automatic Tool Path Correction) is a software application designed to run on a PC connected to the robot via a serial or TCP/IP connection. The software uses a dedicated complex algorithm to correct the theoretical tool path and adapt it to the actual shape of the work piece. Used in conjunction with RoboMOVE™ and a suite of firmware on board the machine, QD ATPC can even automate the process of correcting CAM generated theoretical work programs. Typical applications for this software include water jet cutting, plasma cutting and trimming or deburring work pieces machined from raw parts of different shapes and/or not of the theoretical part shape.
