QD Milling HMI (Milling Human Machine Interface) is a software application for controlling various brands of robot, whether PC based and or not.
QD Milling HMI's user interface is based on TCP/IP communications and provides the user with a simple and intuitive method for controlling milling islands.
With QD MILLING, all the functions of the robot console are available at all times. Thanks to QD MILLING, on top of all the normal functions provided by robot interfaces, you can also perform typical CNC machine operations.

Select and run work programs of any size.
Generate program formulas.
Add work programs even while a work program is running.
START/STOP/RESUME from a chosen program and row number.
Manage parameters like work feed, rapid feed, full feed, plunge feed, spindle speed etc, during the normal work cycle.
Use general machine control functions: home position, tool loading, tool store opening and closing, tool measurement, electrospindle warming cycle, tool cooling nozzle adjustment. Continuously monitor work parameters such as feed, cycle time, spindle speed, etc..

QD MILLING HMI is normally supplied with all the robot cells needed for milling applications, complete with RoboMOVE™. The system can nevertheless be tailored to customer specifications.
